the chief
The Chief is the leader- he/she makes all of the descisions and his/her pack must listen. The pack chief is usually a female and does not have cubs. Usually. There are acceptions to every rule.

the stooge
The stooge can be any gender and is deputy to the chief. They give secondary orders, follow the leaders rule and are basically second in command. Though they usually aren't allowed to have cubs because it interferes. After the chief is dead the stooge will usually become leader unless the chief has decided his/her son or daughter is to rule after him/her.

the scouts
The scouts can be any gender and have two main duties to thier pack. They are highly regarded by the chief and are considered the highest rank under the stooge. Their first duty is as a spy. Dangerous, yes, but necessary. A scout must be stealthy and able to fit into small places. They spy on the other packs, looking for plans of future attack, or anything else of importance of their pack. Their second duty is to scout the land for the best food places and where their may be a potential threat in the land- a scent of mountain lion or other wolve enemy. They may be sent on long journey's by the cheif to find a good food source if the food is scarce at the time. There may only be three scouts to a pack. They get picked from the loyalist and most experianced of the pack.

the moiety
The moiety is basically the rest of the pack. The adult female and male wolves who have no rank but hunt and fight for the pack. They may be upgraded to better positions if the chance arises but usually stay as moiety's. Unless a stooge dies.

the surplus
The surplus are the cubs, nursing females, wolves too old to hunt or fight. They are sometimes burdens but loved by the pack still. Cubs are valued because they are the future of the pack. Every pack member is taken care of dearly as the next. They are all important.



·Note that all packs have member groups and when you are accepted your name will change to accomidate that member groups color. Ranks do not have thier own special color- your rank within the pack will be put on custom title for your account. This is part of the reason why it is important to have seperate accounts for each character. The certain colors are listed in the 'general' thread. Go there for reference.
